  • User Preferences: Settings you configure within the app, such as theme (light/dark), background image preferences, font size scale, Pomodoro timer enablement, and whether to hide completed tasks (e.g., `todoapp_theme`, `todoapp_backgroundEnabled`, `todoapp_hideCompleted`, `todoapp_pomodoroEnabled`, `todoapp_fontSizeScale`).
• Derivative Data (Potentially Collected by Third-Party Services):
  • Standard technical information may be collected by underlying operating systems or third-party services integrated into the Expo framework, such as IP address, device information, and usage statistics. This data is generally anonymized or aggregated and not directly accessed or stored by us in an identifiable manner.
• Third-Party Services:
  • Expo: The Application is built using Expo, which may collect diagnostic and usage data. Please refer to the Expo Privacy Policy for more details.
  • Google Fonts: The Application uses Google Fonts (Montserrat). Google may collect information as described in their Google Privacy Policy.

We do not knowingly collect personal information beyond what is necessary for the Application's local functionality or what might be incidentally collected by the third-party services mentioned.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information collected and stored locally on your device is used solely to:

• Provide and manage the core features of the Application (task management, Pomodoro timer).
• Save your preferences and settings for a personalized experience.
• Enable local notifications for Pomodoro timer alerts (if enabled by you).
• Improve the Application's functionality and user experience (based on aggregated, non-identifiable data if any such analytics are implemented in the future).

3. Disclosure of Your Information

As the Application primarily stores data locally on your device, we do not disclose your personal information to third parties, except in the following very limited circumstances:

• With Service Providers: Underlying services like Expo or Google Fonts operate under their own privacy policies, as mentioned above. We do not directly share your specific task data or preferences with them.
• For Legal Requirements: If required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or other legal process, we may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request. However, given the local nature of data storage, our ability to access and provide such data is extremely limited.

We take reasonable measures to help protect the information stored locally on your device. However, please remember that no system of data storage or transmission is 100% secure. The security of your data also depends on the security of the device you use to access the Application.

5. Data Retention

Data for tasks and preferences is retained locally on your device as long as the Application is installed and the data is not cleared by you or by the Application's standard functionality (e.g., task expiry). If you uninstall the Application, the locally stored data will typically be removed by the operating system.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Since data is stored locally, you have direct control over it:

• Access and Correction: You can access and modify your tasks and preferences directly within the Application.
• Deletion: You can delete individual tasks or clear all task data through the Application's features (if available) or by clearing the Application's data through your device settings. Uninstalling the Application will also remove its data.
• Opt-out of Communications: The Application does not have external communication features like email newsletters by default. Local notifications can be managed via your device's notification settings for the Application.

7. Children's Privacy

The Application is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information (which is unlikely given the app's nature), we will take steps to delete such information.

8. International Data Transfers

The data you create within the Application is stored locally on your device. If you use services like Google Fonts, their data handling is subject to their respective policies, which may involve international data transfers.
